What status-bar holds
Two places, and nothing copied between them.

Clerk (sign-in)

Your email address, used only to send you a sign-in code. Clerk authenticates you; it never sees your name, birth date, sex, or anything you measure.

status-bar (this app)

Your first name, birth date, sex and country - used to work out which population you're compared against - and every measurement you choose to log, with the date it happened. If you report a problem or suggest a category, that message is kept too, with the page you sent it from. Nothing else is collected: no analytics, no tracking, no data shared with or sold to anyone else.

It's stored in a Postgres database run by Neon, and the app runs on Vercel, both in Frankfurt (EU).

Your data is yours

Export it: from Your details, download everything you've logged as a plain JSON file, any time.

Delete it: also from Your details, delete your account and everything in it - your details and every measurement, gone for good. The database's own restore history holds on to it for a few hours more, then that's gone too. There's no undo.

Worth knowing

Body fat and bodyweight can be considered health data in some jurisdictions. status-bar is currently invite-only and used by a small number of people who know each other; treat this page as a plain description of what's stored, not a substitute for a reviewed privacy policy.

Questions? Ask whoever invited you.
